W kolorowym Kórniku

Dzisiaj zabieramy Was na absolutnie wiosenną wycieczkę do kolorowego Kórnika. Będziemy odkrywać świat wokół Poznania :) Można się tam dostać w niecałą godzinkę samochodem lub PKSem z dworca przy Rondzie Rataje. Nie pamiętam już kiedy pojechałyśmy do Kórnika po raz pierwszy, ale za każdym razem jest tam coś nowego do odkrycia. Kórnik to przede wszystkim zamek i Arboretum. Zamek zostawiamy na deszczowe dni i idziemy na spacer po parku. Połowa kwietnia to najlepszy czas, żeby zobaczyć kwitnące magnolie. Druga wycieczkę warto zaplanować na czerwiec, żeby pospacerować wśród kwitnących azalii.


Today we are taking you for a fabulous trip to Kórnik to explore surroundings of Poznan more! It can be reached  less than hour by car or a bit longer by PKS bus which departures from Rataje Roundabout in Poznan. I don't even remember when was the first time when we went to Kórnik, but for sure it is worth coming back as there is always something new to discover and explore. Kórnik is all about the Castle and Arboretum. Let's leave the castle for rainny days, shall we? Just around the corner there is a beautiful park where now, in the middle of April we can see blooming Magnolia trees. The next trip you should plan for mid of June to stroll among rhododendrons

Twórcą Arboretum był Tytus Działyński, a jego początki sięgają XIX wieku. Jednym z najciekawszych okazów jest Cypryśnik błotny - drzewo, które ma 'oddychające' korzenie.

The Arboretum was established in the park arround the castle in 19th century by Tytus Dzialynski and now is  a part of the Dendrology Institute of Polish Academy of Science. One of the most amazing thing in the garden is the tree called bald-cypress. It is kind of cypress tree which has aerial root system.
